Things you will need to get started
Note: a TR2 can only be activated on a smart phone with the Speedhive app.
- TR2 Transponder Kit
- Smartphone with internet
- Speedhive App installed
- Speedhive account
If you don’t have a Speedhive account see HERE to learn how to create one.
Firstly we will start the transponder charging by placing it in its cradle and connecting the supplied USB cable to either a phone charger or a computer.
Next we will open the speed hive app and login.
Next navigate to the “Profile” tab and click “Register Transponder”.
Select Your TR2 Transponder.
Finally click “Register Transponder”
Then it will show you if everything went ok.
From here your transponder is activated and ready to go on your car.
If at any time you want to know about the transponder you can click on the transponder in “Profile” and it will show you when it expires and how long the battery will last. Please note that battery time is just an estimate and may not be 100% accurate at lower levels.
